Fiction Fantastic

While the artwork was beautiful and the story is the one we all know and love, I don't think graphic novels will ever really be my favorite. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful medium and I really enjoy the experience of having a beautiful drawing and some words convey a whole story, but my first love will always be prose.

I haven't actually read the books though, and I've only seen the TV series. Compared to that then, this novel keeps very close to the series, but with some extra information that explains a lot of things left out in the series... I can only imagine what holes the actual books will fill, and I'm really excited to start them!
