Ok I was really not expecting to enjoy this as much as I did. I thought I'd give it a read so that I could laugh along with everyone else, and sure, I'll still do that because there's no escaping the ridiculousness of Chuck Tingle... but the writing is actually pretty damn good and the story wasn't horrible... ridiculous, but not horrible. And if you look deep enough, you might also figure out the true underlying message that I think is the real genius of Mr. Tingle... past all the dinosaurs and building and book screwing, the clear message is that love shouldn't be policed (with obvious exceptions).
